Diwali 2019: Ayushmann Khurrana And Tahira Kashyap Plan To Celebrate The Festival Of Lights In A Special Way
Diwali is only a few days away and we’re all very excited about it! By now, we’re sure everyone has made plans on how to celebrate this festival of lights. Bollywood celebrities celebrate this festival with much pomp and a few celebs even throw the grandest parties during Diwali. However, looks like Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap have altogether different plans this year for Diwali and they will be supporting a noble cause. While they will be spending their time together with family, they will also be spreading joy by highlighting the talent of women waste-pickers.

According to IANS, Ayuhsmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap have decided to send out Diwali gifts that will be handmade by women supported by non-profit organization Gulmeher. These gifts, diyas and candles will be made by women ragpickers who have been trained to become artisans. The non-profit organization is committed to a green agenda and they create products, keeping in mind the environmental impact. Ayushmann Khurrana told IANS that the festival is about bringing joy to people and making them feel special. He also said that by gifting their products, he wants to highlight the work of this organization and show support to the women who need it. Meanwhile, on the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana will next be seen in the film Bala, which will release on November 7, 2019.
